East End Hotel
East End Hotel is well known in Madikeri. It is one of the oldest establishments in Madikeri and is popular with locals and tourists. The restaurant also has a private dining rooms if you are going with a small group. The layout is simple and clean. This is not a fancy restaurant but is spacious, well lit and clean. Liquor was available the last we checked. However please check bar timings before dining.
Food: Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian (Meat), local Coorg food and South Indian cuisine. The menu is limited at times. However, the food is good. If you are visiting, check out the Keema dose at east end.
Parking: The restaurant has ample parking space.

Fort Mercara
Fort Mercara is another well known place to fine dine in Madikeri. It is located in the heart of Madikeri in the Kodava Samaja building opposite to Madikeri Fort.

Parking: There is some parking available on the road as part of the Kodava Samaja complex.

Coorg Cuisine
This is a restaurant that provides authentic Coorg food. Landmark for this hotel is post office. (Opposite India Post)
Parking: There is ample parking by the road in front of this restaurant.

Hotel Udupi Garden
This is a decent non nonsense restaurant and a Good place for Vegetarian food. Parking is available on premises, but is limited. Click here for the location.
Shanti Sagar
Neel Sagar is more like a non nonsense south Indian fast food restaurant with seating. If you are looking at a quick breakfast or lunch, this is the place. The restaurant is located in the Kodava Samaja complex .
Food: South Indian food, fast food . Vegetarian .
Parking: There is some parking available as part of the Kodava Samaja complex.
